Motorama Quarter Midget Racing Registration

Quarter Midget Racing

Pre Registration closes Monday February 8th 2027 at midnight.


MOTORAMA - QUARTER MIDGET RACING
February 20th & 21st 2027

Saturday  9AM to 10PM 
Sunday 9AM to 5PM  


· Registration Information

o Each racer must be registered individually, but multiple racers can be registered under one transaction

o Registration cost PER DRIVER includes: cars entered, a 2 day race pass for the driver, as well as a 2 day race pass for one handler. 

o Additional passes for family/friends/any additional guests can be purchased at time of pre-registration. 

o Price for registration per car does increase if completed at the event. Cash is required for registrations completed at the event.

o Indoor electric must be purchased as part of registration if you plan to use it. Indoor electrical tag must be placed on the line hooked to the wall at all times. It can be purchased on site, cash only. 

o Advanced participant parking passes are recommended to be purchased at time of pre-registration to ensure quick access to venue’s parking lots as well as quarter midget loading/unloading area. Be sure to display your participant parking pass on your dash when arriving for parking staff to direct you to appropriate area. 

o Parking can and often does sell out. DO NOT WAIT TO PURCHASE as you may have to park off-site and bussed over. 

o After 8:30am on Saturday/Sunday there is no guaranteed access to on-site parking due to large volume of traffic. You may be directed to an alternate lot and bussed over. 


· Tentative Schedule

o Check In and pill draw will be completed Friday evening from 2pm-6pm as well as Saturday morning from 7am-9am. 

o Handlers and Drivers must CHECK IN even if pre-registered. All release forms and waivers will be signed at this time. 

o Cars and equipment are encouraged to be brought in Friday evening to avoid congestion Saturday morning.

o Practice, Heats and Lower Mains to be run on Saturday

o Continue with Lower Mains and all A Mains will be run on Sunday 

o No registration for Sunday is allowed with this format

o Schedule is subject to change, a more detailed outline of the weekends starting times will be posted on “Motorama Quarter Midget Indoor Race” Facebook page closer to the race weekend 


· General Race Guidelines

o All Organizations are welcome to attend: Independent, QMA, USAC, Nascar Youth Series

o Starting positions for heats are determined by pill draw. 

o All A Main drivers will receive a trophy 

o A Mains (except rookies) will consist of 10 cars with an X car as an alternate if needed

o If there are 11 cars in a class, all 11 cars will start the A Main

o Rookie A Mains will consist of 8 cars with an X car as an alternate if needed

o Total car count per class will determine number of lower mains needed as well as transfer positions


· Rules

o All cars, pit carts, and supplies are to be staged inside of the building- no tents allowed.

o No fuel cans are allowed inside of the building. If you are found to have fuel cans inside the building, you will be issued a verbal warning. Second time found with fuel cans is subject to disqualification for the weekend. Anyone found tampering with fuel outside will be suspended for future events. 

o All cars must be taken outside of the building for fueling as well as to start them. 

o Left and right side tires must be currently manufactured by Hoosier and must follow latest Nascar Youth Series (NYS) DIRT GUIDELINES for tire rules 

o Tire samples can be taken at any time. Motorama does not reimburse for this. 

o Durometer readings may be compared to measurement benchmark at any time by Motorama official. 

o No grinding, disfiguring, chemical covering, or permanent altering of sidewall of tires is allowed. 

o No covering compound number on tires. They must be easily visible at scales when checked by Motorama official.

o Tire warmers are not permitted. 

o Tire treatment is not permitted.

o Current Nascar Youth Series (NYS) Engine rules will be followed. We will be allowing the 20 degrees of timing on all Honda 120 UT3 engines.

o Mufflers are mandatory 

o Pump fuel of 87 Octane is required on all classes (unless alcohol is used). No fuel additives are allowed. 

o There is to be maximum 2 handlers per car in the hot chute/pit area. 

o Wrist bands are to be worn and are required for the entire weekend to gain admission onto the track or into the hot cute/pit area. You must be over the age of 16 to receive a wrist band.

o It is your responsibility to be in compliance with all safety and technical requirements laid out by the NYS rule book. Spot Safety and Tech inspections can be performed at any time during the event by Motorama staff. 


· Standard of Conduct:

o All attendees of the Motorama Quarter Midgets are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner that will be a credit to all quarter midget racers. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Those who cannot control their behavior can be disqualified and/or banned from future Motorama events.


· General Information:

o The Quarter Midget Portion of Motorama will be organized and run by Mike Erlsten and his staff. Please reach out through the Motorama Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/motoramaquartermidgetracing/if additional questions/concerns arise. 


Important Event Information: After completion of your entry, go back to the registration page for participant information, maps and lodging links before coming to Harrisburg. It could make your Motorama visit less stressful.

VIP reserved seating is now available in the Large Arena only, is very limited quantity and can be reserved here. All other areas of the show is general admission and does not guarantee seating in any arena.

Quarter midget racing is an all-time favorite for the younger racers. Racers from all over the east coast spend their winters gearing up for this exciting competition to determine who the masters are in their respective classes.
